Mr & Mrs V.James

This post is about me and my dearest one and only hubby V.James. We both met at the top of the mount Kinabalu…Yup! At the top, not even at Laban Rata but at the top of the highest mountain in South East Asia.
One of my close friends organized an expedition to the mount Kinabalu and as a true Sabahan I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to climb the historical mountains of ours. We started the journey thru' Mensilau gate in which it took us at least 8 hours to reach up at Laban Rata Lounge. Most of the boys are advanced in term of their physical capabilities so no wonder they reach Laban Rata almost immediately… (hee..Exaggerating little bit) . However me and my fellow friends (Mark and Peter..yup the other boys which not physically advanced like the other) had taken at least 5 hours to reach up Laban Rata. We started the journey at 10am and we reached Laban Rata at 5pm approximately.
At 3am in the morning, we continue our journey to proceed to the top of the mountain specifically the Low’s Peak. The journey was treacherous…I could hardly see my own hands and not to mention it’s damn cold! The Mountain Guider has warned us if we didn’t reached the first post we would not be allowed to enter the peak’s area. So we were warned. But I guess they just scarring us..he and I personally fell for it.
So there I was struggling with myself handling a rope at the same time holding a torchlight…With my Glove 2 times bigger than my hand I had trouble holding the rope and the torchlight at the same time. However...(tidak semena-mena…)someone from behind offer me a helping hand..he said “ok kah? bah mari saya tulung pigang ko punya toslite” well during that time my torchlight happen to be having a breakdown..so without further thinking i handed him the torch light and he led me the way…and the rest is history
Well… not really after couple of minute helping me with the torch and all he finally gave it back to me and simply said “nah”. And believe me or not I don’t even remember if I ever say thanks to him. I guess it is not your typical Love at the first sight…

I don’t know if anyone wants to read this lengthy post but guess I need someone to share my joy and happiness…
Ciao
